Jeff Bezos (prononcé [ˈbeɪzoʊs]), né Jeffrey Jorgensen le 12 janvier 1964 à Albuquerque (Nouveau-Mexique), est un entrepreneur, industriel, propriétaire de médias et milliardaire américain.

Il est connu pour être le créateur et principal actionnaire de Amazon, qu'il dirige personnellement entre 1994 et 2021. Il est aujourd'hui le président du conseil d'administration de l'entreprise. Jeff Bezos est depuis 2013 le propriétaire du Washington Post, un influent journal américain.

Il est le fondateur de l'entreprise spatiale Blue Origin, proposant notamment un accès à l'espace pour le tourisme spatial.

Le magazine Forbes le classe dans les trois premières fortunes mondiales, ses actifs étant estimés à environ 200 milliards de dollars américains (209,2 en 2021, 171 en 2022 et 114 en avril 2023).

MacKenzie Scott (née Tuttle, formerly Bezos; born April 7, 1970) is an American novelist, philanthropist, and early contributor to Amazon. She was married to Jeff Bezos, the co-founder of Amazon, from 1993 to 2019. As of December 2025, she has a net worth of US$40.0 billion, according to Bloomberg Billionaires Index, owning a 1.3 per cent stake in Amazon. As such, Scott is the third-wealthiest woman in the United States and the 40th-wealthiest person in the world. Scott was named one of Time's 100 most influential people in 2020 and one of the world's 100 most powerful women by Forbes in 2021, 2023 and 2025.

In 2006, Scott won an American Book Award for her 2005 debut novel, The Testing of Luther Albright. Her second novel, Traps, was published in 2013. She has been executive director of Bystander Revolution, an anti-bullying organization, since she founded it in 2014. She is committed to giving at least half of her wealth to charity as a signatory to the Giving Pledge. Scott made $5.8 billion in charitable gifts in 2020, one of the largest annual distributions by a private individual to working charities. She donated a further $2.7 billion in 2021. As of December 2025, Scott had given a total of $26.3 billion to over 1,600 charitable organizations.

Lauren Sánchez Bezos (née Lauren Wendy Sánchez; born December 19, 1969) is an American philanthropist and former journalist. She is a licensed pilot and founder of Black Ops Aviation, an aerial film and production company. Sánchez has been a guest host on The View, co-host on KTTV Fox 11's Good Day L.A. and anchor on the Fox 11 News at Ten, and anchor and special correspondent on Extra. She has also been a regular contributor on shows including Larry King Live, The Joy Behar Show and Showbiz Tonight.

In 2024, Sánchez released her debut children's book, The Fly Who Flew to Space, which became a New York Times bestseller. On April 14, 2025, Sánchez flew as a passenger in Blue Origin NS-31, an all-female spaceflight aboard the New Shepard rocket. In June 2025, Sánchez married Jeff Bezos, the fourth-richest person in the world.
